The Mission

The Vision
The vision of Revival Church is create a community of mature believers and to witness our valley transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
Statement of Faith
We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.
We believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired without error in the original manuscripts, and the infallible rule of faith and practice.
We believe in God, the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
We believe in Jesus Christ, God’s one unique Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, teachings, His substitutionary atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and personal, visible, return to earth.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ; we believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and in the exercise of all the Biblical gifts and manifestations of the Spirit.
We believe that all people are sinners by nature and choice and, therefore, are under condemnation; that God regenerates by the Holy Spirit, those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord.
We believe in the universal church, the living spiritual body, of which Jesus Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are members.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ordinances to the church: baptism and communion. We believe in the believer’s baptism in water by full immersion, if so able, and at an age of understanding and in the partaking of communion which is open to all believers whether members or nonmembers.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit and its importance for pastors, elders, deacons, and all believers in receiving the gifts and manifestations of the Spirit for power for service, whether simultaneously or subsequent to regeneration.
We believe in the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ to the earth and the establishment of His kingdom here, in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment and eternal blessing of believers as well as the eternal suffering and punishment of all non-believers.
The church will observe regularly the two New Testament ordinances of water baptism and the Lord’s Supper. These ordinances are observed in obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ, as acts of love and devotion, and are not considered to be necessary for our salvation.
We believe that God created mankind and that He created them male and female. As such, He created them different so as to complement and complete each other. God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. Therefore, we perform marriages in accordance with the Bible consistent with the Old and New Testament
We also desire to be a body free from all entangling alliances of man. Because of this, we are not a denominational church, nor are we opposed to denominations as such, only their over-emphasis of the doctrinal differences that have led to the division of the Body of Christ.
