SUNDAY MORNINGS ARE NOW AT THE CHURCH AT 10AM
Sunday mornings we meet at 10am for our regular weekly service.
Sunday nights at 6pm we do our verse by verse study thru-the-Bible followed by a worship time of songs and prayer.
See our SERVICES page for more info about our services throughout the week.
A pastor once said, "ice cream sundays taste great, but you'll never grow if that's all you eat." While we believe that sermons can be fun and engaging, if we aren't learning the Word of God, we'll never grow. This is why every week we teach chapter by chapter and verse by verse through the entire Bible. We want to know what we believe and why we believe it.
We believe that God has inspired many believers over the centuries to compose wonderful worship music. This is why we sing all types of worship songs at our services; from hymns to country gospel-- from Keith Green to Chris Tomlin. We believe that great worship music is found both on the radio and in the hymnal.
‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord (Zechariah 4:6) We know that without the power of the Holy Spirit working in us, all that we do will be for nothing. We seek and desire His gifts in our lives and also believe that the Word of God gives us practical guidance on how those gifts are to be used; both in and out of the church service.
"For My house shall be called a house of prayer" (Isaiah 56:7) Every great revival, from the day of Pentecost to the Great Awakenings, has begun in a prayer meeting. We meet before Sunday mornings for prayer, during closing worship on Sunday nights, and have a special prayer meeting on Wednesdays where we ask God to pour out His Spirit and bless His people.
Church truly begins in the home and the Bible teaches us that the better we understand marriage and parenting, the better we can understand our relationship with Him. (I.e. Ephesians 5 & Hebrews 12) This is why we often include a lot of practical, biblical, marriage and parenting advice in our messages. We also emphasize teaching the Bible to the children in their classes, so both parent and child can grow together.
We are a church that seeks revival. What is revival? R.A. Torrey may have said it best, "A revival is a time when God visits His people, and, by the power of His Spirit imparts new life to them, and through them imparts life to sinners dead in trespasses and sins. New life from God - that is revival!"
Chapter by chapter, verse by verse, through the Bible. Every week we record our messages so you can catch what you missed, or go back and join in an old study. Check out our previous verse by verse teachings through Roamns, Mark, Acts, Revelation, and more.
We believe that the Bible is the flawless and inspired Word of God. It is where we draw all truth from and it is the foundation of our faith. This is why we emphasize the expository teaching of the entire Bible, verse-by-verse, from cover to cover. As believers grow in the Word, they will learn more about Who God is, what He wants, and how to worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
We believe that the Holy Spirit is alive and working today as He always has. It is through the power of the Spirit that each believer can be individually empowered to complete the calling that God has given them. We believe that the Spirit of God will always seek to glorify Jesus and His Word. Without Him, we will not succeed. ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts. (Zech 4:6)
If the Bible were the cannon, prayer would be our cannonball. It is powerful and supernatural.
Prayer is how we, as believers, communicate with God, give Him thanks and praise, as well as ask for His power to work in our lives and in the lives of those around us.
