Zechariah 7-8

Zechariah is questioned about the observance of a tradition, specifically a fast which was started because of the destruction of the temple. Now that the temple is nearly half done, should they keep fasting? God's response causes them to reflect on their hearts - were they in it for the right reasons? We should ask ourselves the same question.
